Red-Winged Blackbirds, Blue Jays

While at a friend's house, saw these gorgeous red-winged blackbirds! I had no idea just the males were so gorgeous and the female looks NOTHING like them.  She looks like a large, striped sparrow.

Blue Jay is gorgeous, too!

Oh, this was a fence lined up of small birds getting ready to eat at the feeder when the bigger birds left.

Robin "Bokeh" Pictures Hummingbird photographs

 Nice bokeh here (Pleasant blurriness)

Still endeavoring to get the male but I think he's out gallavanting around...so just females hanging out in small red maple tree. The cropped photos with the wings out have contrast pushed up to 30 or 50% so you could see the feet better on the last photo!

Otherwise, just natural light and I did  not mess with anything.  The Robin was looking away but the tree gave nice color!

Cats and Birds. Impatiens

Nothing like discovering you left the ISO speed too high for bird photos on a sunny day, thus a little washed out. The one photo of the House finch was taken through an old window in nice sunlight...but still a little fuzzy.

Oscar in his new fave sleeping place in a closet.  Stewart discovers the window hummingbird feeder and waits for them to return.  They never do until he leaves the window!
