A rare sunny day a week or so ago...this is the newest bald eagle couple that we know of with a nest! The female is the larger one and still has Some dark feathers on her head..,I was several hundred yards away across the river. Photos taken with a powerzoom at 1800mm

 I missed the Eagle's fishing for dinner but here is the aftermath.

a quick swoop and many branches were in between me and the birds!

. . . .can barely glimpse here but it was such a fun viewing.

 you need a strong telephoto or a super zoom camera to see the birds! Nikon Coolpix610 handy, affordable camera for this kind of thing !
