the new eagle couple around town!

A rare sunny day a week or so ago...this is the newest bald eagle couple that we know of with a nest! The female is the larger one and still has Some dark feathers on her head..,I was several hundred yards away across the river. Photos taken with a powerzoom at 1800mm

We got behind this scary truck and I immediately thought of Sanford and Son.  Christopher said he wanted to hear the theme song so I obliged him...excuse the lousy audio...taken from a car with a cell playing the tune.

Don't get to see owls very often...nests are even rarer to find.  Hope to get back when it's bigger.
